Our NEW Weekend As Requested By Our Supporters
Welcome to the Marilla Civil War Days (MCWD) official web Site. The Marilla Historical Society and the 52nd North Carolina Infantry are proud to be able to bring history to life at this annual event. Marilla Civil War Days is a unique interactive history experience filled with fun, education and gun smoke! This is the 15th consecutive year and it is because of our special approach to reenacting that this event has grown. The Civil War Days event is nowhere close to your typical reenactment. We have been known for barn burnings, ground charges, falling trees & buildings and much more! Every year is a brand new experience. Our spectators get to watch battles, participate in period dances, go for candlelight tours, meet hundreds of reenactors, meet the ‘Doc’ and see everyday life for a civil war soldier. As always, admission and parking are free. Come and join us at one of the fastest growing events in New York State. Saturday Evening Buffet Reenactors Dinner is LIMITED to the FIRST 200 early registered reenactors ONLY
Check out the 'Event Schedule' page to see what is in store! We look forward to seeing you!
Free Spectator Admission - Free Parking - Food Available Public Participation in ALL Activities is Encouraged
